Egyptian charcoal is in growing demand across Arab and international markets. If you are an importer or wholesaler, these practical steps will help you complete your order smoothly.
Step 1: Define the product and specifications
Choose the charcoal type (shisha, BBQ, lump, industrial), the sizes, and the technical specs that matter in your market, such as moisture, ash content and burn time.
Step 2: Samples and approval
Request a sample and test it. Once approved, the sample becomes the quality reference for all future shipments.
Step 3: Packing and branding
Choose pack weights (cartons or bags) and decide whether you want private label packing. Design and printing need extra lead time.
Step 4: Quantity and container type
- 20ft container: suitable for trial orders and medium volumes.
- 40ft container: the most economical freight cost per ton for large volumes.
The actual payload depends on product type and packing; our team will specify it in the quotation.
Step 5: Delivery and payment terms
Agree on the Incoterm (e.g. FOB or CIF), payment method, and production and loading schedule.
Step 6: Documents
Usually a commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin, plus any certificates your destination country requires. Check your local requirements in advance.
Step 7: Loading and tracking
The container is loaded and photographed, and shipment details are sent to you for tracking until arrival.
